RV ACCOMMODATIONS

Kirtland Air Force Base FAM CAMP is open to active/retired military and civilian personnel. Active duty emergency has PRIORITY. The FAM CAMP is located at F Street East Side-almost due North of SNL Cafeteria. From I-40, go south on Eubank and through the Eubank Gate about 4.6 miles. No reservations are taken - it is first come first served. After hours, you can check yourself in if a space is available.

Rates: Full hookup-$12.00/day; Electric only-$9.00/day; Dry-$6.00/day. There are bathrooms, showers, laundry, potable water and a dump station near the registration office. There are no telephone or television hookups available. However there is a computer link on the porch outside the registration office. For more information call (505) 846-0337 during working hours.

There are two (2) exits from I-40: From I-40 98 th Street exit, go south on 98 th Street about .7-8 miles, then turn east on Central for about .4-5 miles-the RV park will be on your left; From I-40 Unser Boulevard, go south on Unser Boulevard about .7-8 miles, then turn west on Central for about 1.5-1.6 miles-the RV park will be on your right. Warning: Exercise extreme caution if you are east bound on I-40 and desire to exit on Coors Boulevard to go north or south. If you go sorth, you will have to cross against heavy traffic from both directions without a traffic light. If you go south, you will be merging into heavy traffic on a short lane.

Warning: Exercise extreme caution when you go north on Coors Boulevard over I-40 and you are merging right to enter the West Bluff Shopping Center because you will be merging into two (2) heavy traffic lanes.
