NEED VOLUNTEER HELP ON SOME OF THE FOLLOWING:
  • Mayor's office coordination - COMPLETE
  • Visitors bureau coordination - COMPLETE
  • Bus transportation arrangements - ONGOING
    • Note: Still negotiating bus fare. Bus tour fares can be mailed in as soon as a price is agreed upon.
    • 3 June AM Tour: Old NWEF Facilities, Atomic Museum-Large Items, lunch at East Side Club, NM Veterans Memorial
    • 4 June AM Tour: Old Town, Atomic Museum-Small Items, Albuquerque Museum of Art & History, NM Museum of Natural History & Science, Albuquerque Aquarium and Rio Grande Botanic Garden
  • Obtaining banner, flyer & brochure - COMPLETE
  • Memory book coordinator - COMPLETE
  • NWEF & NAWC DET ABQ web site - COMPLETE
  • Photographers (need minimum of 2-3) to record events (Film provided)
  • Creating database - ONGOING
  • Stuffing & mailing "snail" mail - ONGOING
  • Tracking hotel room reservation registration
  • Tracking dinner and brunch registration
  • Coordinating tour bus (Old Town, KAFB & Casinos)
  • Coordinate manning of hospitality room - room officially designated Rio Grande Navy room. We have the room for the entire event.
    • Note: Need the following for the hospitality room: people to man the room on 2, 3 & 4 June (times TBD); borrow 3 large coolers, 1 large tea pot/dispenser and 1 large coffee pot. We also need donations of ice, chips, soft drinks and beer - all brands! We have the room for the entire event (24/3))
  • Coordinating memorabilia display
    • Note: Need some good photos of NWEF events, equipment or persons. We would greatly appreciate it if you would make us an 8x10 inch copy of your favorite NWEF photo - we will display it and later add it to our website.
  • Coordinating oral history functions
  • General - anything that might have been overlooked or forgotten
